"Regrettably we have to announce that the club will close after the Mississippi Macdonald gig on June 23rd. As many of you will be aware the attendance over the last few months has not been at a level to enable the club to continue on a sound financial footing hence the decision".

This seems to be a general trend. Jazz at Hadlow Manor closed. Maidstone Pizza Express music has gone. Jive Club at the Rivoli is suspended for the summer. Covid seems to have changed peoples habits (or possibly God forbid to have killed off the older audience.)
