The Sussex Jazz Kings play (traditional) Jazz at Hadlow Manor on the first Wednesday of every month 12.00pm to 3.30pm.
The 144 Club at Bridgewood Manor still seems to be in abeyance. Has it gone forever?
The Bottleneck Blues club also seems to be in abeyance.
The ‘Crybaby' Jazz bar is due to open in Margate soon.
There is good news and bad news. The good news is that Rochester International Jazz Festival is on for this year. The bad news is that it takes place in Rochester, New York State. Terry J reports " I once passed through Rochester, Minnesota. It is the home of the world famous Mayo Clinic. The city is jam packed with hospitals, doctors, nurses and medical research institutes. I was passing the tourist information bureau so I went in to mention our city. They were disappointed that I didn't come from Rochester NY and they had never heard of the place in England.
