'Angel' and 'Castles Made of Sand/Little Wing' were chosen in recognition of the 50 year anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's death.
August 29th would have been Charlie Parker's 100th birthday (which went unnoticed by the British media).
The choice of the Y-Otis track was inspired by a selection on the Radio 3 programme 'J to Z' which is transmitted at 17.00 on Saturdays.
