This is a landmark track from Miles Davis written by Joe Zawinul and with John McLaughlin beautifully following Miles's cryptic instruction to "play the guitar like you don't know how to platy the guitar".

I am unsure whether this should be regarded as Jazz or not. Perhaps it is just one of the best rock albums ever. I am shocked to see that it was recorded some 50 years ago; no wonder I know it off by heart!
