Thank you for posting this. It is good to hear about events outside of the Medway area which could be of interest to our readership. Please keep us informed of any similar events. I expect there would be interest in West Kent if you decided to repeat your performance up this way. Most theatres and arts centres have a film club or regular film night so there might be a potential audience waiting for your offering. I have enjoyed Jazz / silent film performances in London by Bill Frisell and Nils Petter Molvaer respectively and find it to be a good combination. In the case of the Nils Petter Molvaer concert they didn't know before the performance what the films would be! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vx8lpoBOiUwwww.youtube.com/watch?v=SHdJdPpnPBg

Interesting to see that the Sarah Thorne Theatre also features The Beverley Big Band on Saturday May 26th
Founded more than 20 years ago by Jane Beverley, The Beverley Big Band is Kent’s Premier Swing Dance Band recreating the sound of The Big Band Era of the mid 1930’s to late 1940’s. Their extensive repertoire of music made popular by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and other great band leaders of their time are guaranteed to excite and enthral you.

Thank you admin for the encouragement. We did perform the concert at the Brook Theatre , Chatham a couple of years ago to help raise money for the Medway Queen. Checked out the YouTube links , different to our approach but none the less interesting. Again many thanks and keep up the good work.
